Rules and Regulations
1. Certification: This is a USBC certified event, all USBC rules and regulations shall apply, and all entrants must be current adult USBC members.
2. Averages: Use highest 2024-25 avg. of 21 games or more. If none, then use highest current 2025-26 avg. of 21 games or more. If none then bowler will use a 220 avg. There will be no 10-pin rule for this event. All averages will be verified prior to the start of the tournament. If a bowler has a standard average and a sport average, the standard average shall be used. If a bowler must use his/her sport average, their average shall be adjusted using the USBC Sport Conversion Chart. The tournament director reserves the right to rerate any bowler for any reason.
3. Handicap: Handicap shall be calculated using 80% from 220.
4. Format: All bowlers will complete six (6) games of qualifying across twelve (12) lanes, skipping, or moving, lanes after each game. The number of entries determines the finals. The finals will be either a stepladder or a modified bracket. 1:5 will make the finals with a max of eight bowlers. The seeds will be determined based on qualifying. If there is a tie in seeding, the better seed will go to the bowler who bowled a higher handicap game during qualifying. This tiebreaker also goes towards determining who gets into the finals, in case there is a tie for the final advancing spot after qualifying.
5. Payouts: Payouts will be 1:5 ratio.
6. Entry Fee and Prize Fund: The entry fee is $60. The breakdown will be $21 for lineage, $32 prize fund, $5 awards, and $2 admin.
7. Singles Brackets and High Games: There will be optional scratch & handicap singles brackets and high game pots.
8. Tournament Authority: The Tournament Director will have final say in all disputes, rules not covered here, or rules not covered by the USBC.
