Proto and Zone of Light Studios is proud to present our first collaborative partnership with this great event. The combination of a great indoor and outdoor event space and intimate listening room all in one, provided by Zone of Light Studios, and music coordination, food, and backline provided by Proto Music. Please check out both businesses for our charter and our mission. Come dressed up in your halloween costume for one last time before it's all over, or come in your post halloween hangover attire.
Doors open at 2pm, come earlier at 1pm if you want to help us set up the outdoor stage!
First band goes from 3pm - 4pm. This is a new band called Greyscale - phenomenal vocal harmonies and amazing players, first discovered by Proto at Bill and Spencer's open mic at Napoleons. You can find more info about them at their instagram page - @greyscale_atl.
Following them is Scott Low, who won the Atlanta Blues Challenge Solo/Duo competition in 2025 and will be going to Memphis in January to compete in the international competition. He will be performing with his trio at Zone of Light starting at 3:30pm. Scott Low is a Southern songwriter with a blues man's heart, a folk singer's storytelling, and a river guide's patience. His most recent albums, Struttin' Round Town (2025) and The Appalachian Blues (2024) - dig deep into the soul of the rural South, blending gritty guitar work, slow burn vocals, and road worn lyrics. From swaggering blues-rock grooves to stripped down acoustic confessionals, these records trace a life shaped by heartbreak, resilience, and the crooked backroads of Appalachia.
The last set of the night, starting at 5pm, is the other Atlanta Blues Challenge winner, Blue Velvet Atlanta, who will also be heading to Memphis in January for the international band competition. Blue Velvet Atlanta is an all-female blues, funk, and R&B band, known for high energy vibe, featuring classics, deep cuts, and original songs with rich three-part harmonies and soulful rhythms.
