NO KINGS 2: Democracy Rising

In Decatur, we celebrate the voices of the people. We know that it's up to us to build the accepting and empowered community we want to live in and teach our kids how to advocate for themselves and their neighbors.

On October 18th at 10am, STAND (whenwestand.org) joins thousands of groups across the country for a national day of action pushing back on attempts to marginalize, divide, and silence the people. We will celebrate our freedoms of speech, assembly, and protest by using our voices to lift up the values our democracy relies on. Bring your most hopeful signs, your kids, and your voices to Decatur Square for a brief rally, a kid-friendly march, and a celebration of the best of what Decatur can be when we join in community.
