Dearborn First UMC is pleased to welcome this advance sneak-peek performance of Michigan-based L'Invenzione Baroque Ensemble before their concert in the MSU Taylor Johnston Early Music Series in Lansing at the end of September.

This vibrant program, "In the Shadow of Vesuvius," features recorder concertos and trio sonatas for strings by Alessandro Scarlatti and his contemporaries, offering an evocative journey into a world of dramatic musical contrasts that mirror the geographical and geopolitical backdrop of Naples itself.
