On Saturday 7 March 2026, Lillyroo’s Glamping Site in Deal hosts Event Three of the Kent Backyard Ultra Series, a running format that’s as social as it is tough. You start together, rest together, and push each other further, one hour at a time.

With just 8 metres of ascent per hour, this super flat out-and-back course is ideal for first timers and those chasing their first sub-24-hour 100-mile PB.

Whether you want to try the 7 Hour Challenge or go all in for the Backyard Ultra, this is your chance to find out what you’re really capable of.
