Have you attended one of our family events, perhaps the Teddy Bear Hunt, and thought to yourself that it would be nice to contribute to and/or be involved in an organization that preserves natural areas and provides opportunities for youth to connect with the outdoors and their natural surroundings? 

Or perhaps you are simply looking for a local conservation organization to get more involved with.

Whatever the reason or motivating factor, we would love to have you consider becoming a member of the Brown County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League.  We are hosting a membership drive on June 23rd at 6:00 p.m. at Osprey Point.  This is a great opportunity to come out and talk to current members, including our board of directors and officers, and hear more about what we are doing at Osprey Point and in the community.  You can also learn about volunteer opportunities that we have throughout the year, including helping out at our senior and youth fisheries, performing trail work and other habitat restoration projects, helping out at our annual teddy bear hunt or trout boil and pig roast, and much more.  

In addition, if you are a new member, you can take advantage of half-priced membership for the remainder of the year.  

There are exciting things going on at the Brown County Chapter and we would love to have you join us. 

We will have hot dogs, hamburgers and brats, along with other sides and drinks, available for everyone who attends.
