We will all jump in the spring pool at the same time, and make a big splash!  It's going to be fun and silly.  

DELUXE DUNK DELUXE! 7:00 am Ticketed Event - You will enter the park before it's officially open!  You'll get our cool manatee beach towel, Old Sugar Mill mini pancakes, donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and FREE park entry. 

DELEON DUNK! 8:00 am.  No ticket or registration necessary.  All you have to do is pay the park entrance fee or use your park pass, and you can come on in and jump with us at 8:30 and then enjoy park activities!  (You may purchase t-shirts, refreshments, or souvenirs while supplies last.)  

For All:  Swim in the beautiful spring pool, enjoy the playground, gather around the fire pit, play outdoor games, or just enjoy the park.  

 

Make sure you bring a warm towel, robe, and/or jacket!  After your "DeLeon Dunk", sign in at Old Sugar Mill Pancake House and order some hot breakfast.  They will probably have a fire in the fireplace.  Rent a kayak/canoe/pedal boat/standup paddleboard, take an eco-history boat tour, or just hang out in the park.


At 10 am and 12 noon, our rangers will guide First Day Hikes on our nature trail, and give you commemorative 1st day hike sticker. 

Spend the whole day in our park . . . A perfect way to start the year!

NOTE:  In the interest of safety, there is a limit of 100 people per group jump. 
We will have several group jumps from 7:15-7:45,
and several more groups from 8:15 - 8:45.
