- **Event Description**: In our society our nervous systems are often taxed on a daily basis often leading to chronic stress, anxiety and other health issues. Restorative Yoga enables students to learn to completely relax the physical body, allowing the thinking mind to become at ease. In this 12 hour Restorative Teacher Training we will explore ways to utilize props effectively so that students feel supported in every pose to promote deep relaxation. The benefits of each pose will be discussed as well as variations and modifications. We will also discuss how different body types or injuries may affect each student's experience in different poses and how to address situations that may arise. That way we can confidently work with each student's individual needs in a restorative practice. There will be practice time built into the workshop so that practitioners can experience each pose for themselves as well as how to set them up. After completion of this workshop teachers will have the knowledge to teach either a full restorative yoga classes or teach poses within any style or class.
