Chief's Letters: A World War II Memoir

For this Ask an Author talk, David Wood presents “Chief's Letters: A World War II Memoir.” Wood transcribed letters written by or to his father, Harold Wood, during his WWII days, 1943-1945. The letters and accompanying photos offer an intimate portrait of life on the home front and in the Pacific and European theaters of the war.

David Wood is a Longwood College graduate, retired teacher, museum volunteer, community theatre member, and genealogist.
