- **Event Name**: Beltane Celebration: Snacks & Craft
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 03 May, 2026 at 02:00 pm – Sun, 03 May, 2026 at 04:00 pm (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: Join us in the Temple for an afternoon celebrating Beltane. Also known as May Day, Beltane is the midway point between the Spring Equinox (Ostara) and the Summer Solstice (Litha.) During this time in the season, our ancestors would often commemorate the season with bonfires, dancing, and performing fertility rituals. For the folks whose lives revolved around their cattle, horses, and sheep, Beltane marked the beginning of a new livestock cycle, and was cause for rowdy celebration. For the land tenders, it marks the start of the traditional planting season.

During the event we will:

-Snacks with Beltane inspired nourishment. This is a potluck event... You are welcome to bring a vegetarian snack, side dish, dessert, and/or beverage!

-Share stories in circle, enlivening the energy of the season

-Help build our community’s Pagan Wheel seasonal altar in our shared altar room*

-Get creative and crafty… and then take home for personal ritual use

*Please bring an altar item to represent the energy you are leaning into for the coming season. You are welcome to take the altar item home when we dismantle the altar at the end of the night, end of the season, or you can leave your item as a gift for the temple.

This offering is for guys, gals and all in-between and other pals. Minimum age to attend is 13.

Whether in or out of the Broom Closet, this gathering is for you!
