Don't miss this opportunity to experience the history and grandeur of this extraordinary garden.Wombat Park Estate’s garden described as 'pure romance', first planted in the early 1850s and continuously developed throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, is of State significance. A splendid residence, designed by the celebrated Melbourne architect Rodney Alsop, was erected c.1910-12.It is glorious; not only for the handsome Arts and Crafts home which is the centrepiece of the garden, but for the extraordinary selection of trees furnishing the exquisite tapestry of garden rooms. Each season delights the senses with constant changes to foliage colour. The dramatic framework of clipped hedges, sweeping lawns and towering evergreens provide form and function.
