Run with us at Amicalola! Get your mountain training in for the spring racing season with the option to run 11, 22, or 33 miles on an 11ish mile loop with 2,500 feet of elevation gain per loop.

Meet at 10am. We will begin running at 10:15 ish to make sure everyone can make it.
What:
This is one of my favorite loops to run in the state park. And what better way to bring all my ultra friends together to train for various races than with a big group run! Some of us will just be running the 10 miles, but many will be running 20+. Early spring in the park will be gorgeous and cool temps! We plan to hangout after the run over good conversation, snacks, and maybe a cold plunge in the creek.
Route:
11ish mile AT approach/Len foote hike inn loop + stair repeats for good measure ;) — 2,500 feet of elevation gain per loop.

We will meet and start from the bottom of the falls at the reflection pool. From there we will climb the stairs to view the highest waterfall in Georgia - Amicalola falls! Once at the top of the falls we will follow the appalachian approach trail until turning right onto the Len Foote hike in trail to loop back to the park.
This is perfect long run training if you are racing any mountain ultras this spring. Let’s go get after it together and have a fun time in the mountains!
