Join us for the Spring Wilderness & The Word Meet-Up — a weekend gathering at Pennyrile State Forest where outdoor skills, fellowship, and spiritual growth come together around the campfire.
This is NOT a class.
This is NOT a course.
It’s a community meet-up for people who love the outdoors, want to sharpen their bushcraft skills, and value real fellowship with optional Bible study.
All experience levels welcome.

Exact campsite location will be sent to all attendees 48 hours prior.
Primitive camping. No hookups. No facilities.
Expect a true backcountry-style weekend.

🔥 What We’ll Do
• Firecraft (beginner to advanced)
• Knife skills & carving
• Shelter-building
• Water procurement & purification
• Cordage & knots
• Land navigation basics
• Skill-sharing rotations (everyone teaches ONE small skill)
• Communal campfire meals
• Campfire Bible study (optional)
• Morning devotional
• Fellowship, mentorship & community building
This is a friendly, veteran-welcoming environment.
No egos. No drama. No alcohol.

🎒 What to Bring
• Tent or shelter
• Spring-appropriate clothing (cold nights, possible rain)
• Sleeping bag & sleeping pad
• Food for all meals (optional communal dinner Saturday night)
• 1–2 gallons of water
• Knife / ferro rod / tools (optional)
• Bible (optional)
• Headlamp
• Chair
• Anything else you’d want for a primitive weekend outdoors
