2026 AWI, UFO, and Skyhoundz Classic World Qualifier - (YOU MUST USE A HYPERFLITE DISC FOR ALL OF THE SKYHOUNDZ EVENTS)
The 12th Annual Winter Toss & Fetch Championship Michigan Style will offer many world qualifying events.
The Winter Toss & Fetch Championship is outside in the who knows what weather. In years past we have played in 12” of snow, rain, mud, wind, 50 degrees, and 10 degrees. So dress accordingly for the weather conditions, we will have the fire pit going and some heaters under the control tent. Coffee, hot chocolate, water, breakfast & lunch will be provided to the Winter Toss & Fetch Championship competitors.

Pre payment is required when you register. No refunds will be given without a veterinarian or a Doctor’s note. We will not be taking any day of show registrations.
As in years past, on 1/31/26 (Saturday) the Winter Toss & Fetch Championship will be a one-day competition will include two rounds of UFO, AWI, and Skyhoundz DA with all three events are sanctioned World Qualifiers. We will also offer Skyhoundz Micro Dog Sport DA (Dogs under 17”)
Handler & Dog(s) teams will compete in the following three K9 Toss & Fetch event formats. Champions will be crowned for each event and world qualifying spots will be earned as well as for the Overall Winter Champion based on cumulative scoring. We will be cutting to the top 10 or 15 teams in each format for the second rounds. Each team will get a minimum of 3 rounds.
Due to the short daylight hours, there will be a 60-team limit per day.
Sunday Feburary 1, 2026 – INDOORS Will be all the Skyhoundz Freestyle rounds, Open, Micro Dog Open, Youth Open, and Pairs. The freestyle DA rounds will be outdoors. Based on the number of teams we may take a cut to the top 10 after round one.

Event entry for 1st dog in all 3 events, with $5 min (per AWI Rules) earmarked for the AWI Cash & Catch pot and $10 for the Overall Cash Pot

Skyhoundz Micro Dog Sport $25 each team
2nd plus Dogs Package: $95 for each additional dog:
