Team Davis Parent Education Forum: alta regional center resources, Programs and Supports Services

The feature presenters from Alta Regional Center will share about how someone qualifies to be an Alta client, what services are provided, and the steps that need to be taken to become an Alta client. This Parent Education Forum is relevant to families with older sons and daughters that are already Alta clients as well as younger families exploring becoming an Alta client. Some specific additional questions to be addressed include -- How do you find and evaluate agencies that provide employment and/or home services? How does Self Determination work and what are the pros and cons? After the presentation, we will open it up for questions.

The Parent Education Forum will be at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A Street, Davis, from 5:30 – 7:00 PM.
