More Heavy Fighting! More Rapier Fighting! A Viking Finger Braiding Class! More Gather!
The friends of Windy Meads gathered as companions and met beneath a canopy of trees to share merriment, fun and regale the many citizens of Davis. New friendships were made, new Windy Meadians were recruited, and thanks to our many friends who traveled the highways and byways to join us, hope is reborn in the hearts of our land!
We have made an important first step but our journey on behalf of Windy Meads has just begun and we still need friends and fighters from our neighboring shires, providences and baronies to come join us in the fun!
Our A&S offering for this event will be Viking braided trim. The class is free, all materials will be provided and you get to take home the trim you make!
In October our dates have to shift slightly to not conflict with other major events in our kingdom. So our next three practice dates are:
September 19th
October 10th
October 24th
As always, garb is optional but some of us are dressing up for the fun of it! Note that there is an awesome frozen yogurt shop and other restaurants just steps away! The site has very nice flush bathrooms and is wheelchair friendly with parking just a few feet from where we will gather.

Directions: We will be meeting near the restrooms by 4th and C streets Practice starts around 6:30 pm. Martial activities will include both heavy and rapier. A&S projects and general socialization are very welcome.
