this is at the Eastern Ave Branch of the Davenport public library. This location is mobility accessible, and if I can make the event more accessible for you, please contact me to do so. 

Not sure if your items count as plus size? go ahead and bring them. Sizing varies between brands and cuts, so if they're in the nebulous 14ish range, bring them. Items should be clean and in good condition - a missing button or bead, a small hole that can be stitched quickly by hand, or a small discoloration under the collar is fine, but set stains, huge rips, and threadbare patches mean the item has lived its full life. 

Perhaps you've changed sizes and plan to just drop off - stay and check out the shoes, socks, jewelry, purses, and accessories! Make a friend and hang out with us. 

how it works: 
arrive at eleven and set your things out. we'll sort loosely by size. while others set things out, look around, try things on, think about what you might like. don't pocket anything yet! 
we'll draw names from a hat for first picks, so in case there's a Coach purse or Chanel suit that everyone wants, everyone has a fair chance at it. after everyone has claimed their top choices, we'll open it up as a free for all. Usually, by now, we've mingled and noticed each other enough that we startb suggesting things and dressing our new friends. 
When we're done, either you may take your leftovers back home with you, or we'll take them to the YWCA Empowerment Center in Rock Island for them to distribute to folks who need them.
