If you have an interest in your family history and would like to learn how to discover their secrets, this program is for you! Join us for a six-week beginning genealogy workshop starting on September 11th. This class will introduce you to how you can start making genealogical discoveries in your own family.
Each class has an hour of content, with opportunities to ask questions of your instructors and share your findings with fellow explorers.
Registration is required.
This program series is sponsored by the Richardson-Special Collections Center at the Davenport Public Library and the Scott County Iowa Genealogical Society.
In each of the classes we will focus on a different topic related to family history research. In our third class, we will discuss where to find census reports and the information you will find on a census.
Schedule of the classes:

October 2 - Types of Records
