The agenda for this event is as follows:
1. Opening prayer with elder Bev Harvey.
2. Introduction.
3. I will than be handing out roses randomly, these are for you to keep.
4. Sharing circle, opportunity to say what you would like to say. You may pass on this part if you so wish. Speaking is NOT required.
5. Rainbow, Sabrina and Sanova will drum and sing the song(s) of their choosing.
6. We will begin walk at the bear and follow the path, exit at the brown building, located at the entrance of the park. (I've already done a walk through to ensure path is clear, it is.)
7. We will gather at the picnic tables by the parking lot (area around the picnic tables will be cleared this weekend)
8. There may be a drum group present  to sing (confirmation will be known Monday)
9. There will be little ones in attendance performing a dance. 
10. Closing prayer, as well as blessing of the food with elder Bev Harvey.
11. Timmies coffee, muffins, donuts, hot dogs and canned pop will be available.

Hi everyone, on February 14 there will be a walk for MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women). I have participated in walks in Regina in previous years and upon moving back home here to Dauphin, was surprised walks weren't hosted on this day. So last year I approached a family member and together along with friends hosted one. This walk is every year on Valentine's Day, located in many different cities and towns. We walk to honour and remember the many different women who were stolen from their loved ones. Women who were mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, cousins, grandmothers. This day, I personally walk for my older sister and the women who were stolen from their families. To show support that they will not be forgotten. That they mattered. We all walk on this day for different reasons. These are mine. ?

This year, the walk will take place in vermillion park again. I am still waiting on confirmation for an elder to be in attendance to say the opening and closing prayer, as well to bless the snacks that will be provided after the walk. Which is Tim Hortons coffee, muffins and donuts (I'll update this information if anything is added). I will be handing out roses to people in attendance prior to the walk. These are for you to keep. The time posted is not the actual time. I will update the time when I have my confirmed guest and can confirm time availability. I have also asked Rainbow to sing with her drum, she will be having other ladies sing with her. I will update that information when it becomes available as well. This page was created to raise the awareness of this upcoming event and to invite everyone to join in this walk. I hope to see you all there ?
