The Lighthouse property, home to the Dauphin Island Art Gallery and Art Studio, has been sold, and our lease will not be renewed. As a result, we will be vacating the building by March 25, 2026.

While this closes a meaningful chapter in a space that has meant so much to all of us, we want to make it clear that DIHAC and its programs will continue. As we thoughtfully consider what comes next, we also want to pause and celebrate everything this special place has been—the art created here, the children who have discovered their creativity, the friendships formed, and the countless memories we’ve shared together. This year also marks DIHAC’s 13th Anniversary, and we can’t think of a better reason to gather and celebrate.

For this occasion, our traditional “Last Friday Art Night” will be held on the first Friday instead—March 6, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM (less than one week away!). As always, we will have food, drinks, and live music, along with special discounted artwork to mark the celebration.

It would mean so much to us to see this space filled again with the familiar faces who have supported us throughout the years, alongside new friends who will help support us as we move forward. Your encouragement and presence have always been the heartbeat of DIHAC, and they always will be. We hope to see you next Friday as we turn the page and begin this new chapter together!
