This special event is organised by the Connected Women group of the Australian Red Cross NT, in collaboration with Darwin’s multicultural communities and with the generous support of the Northern Territory Government.

For many years, Australian Red Cross has been a pillar of support for refugee, migrant, and asylum seeker women and their families, fostering social inclusion and empowerment through Connected Women NT program.

The program has been recognised for its outstanding contributions, receiving prestigious awards such as the Fitzgeralds’ Diversity Award and the INPEX Community Volunteer Organisation/Team of the Year Award.

This free public event will feature:

Multicultural Food Expo – A showcase of over 100 dishes from more than 25 cultural backgrounds, allowing attendees to experience diverse culinary traditions guided by cultural representatives.
Live Performances & Cultural Showcases – Traditional dances, interactive games, and performances by migrant, First Nations, and broader Australian communities.
Family-Friendly Activities – Live music, a photo wall, and engaging activities for children.
In today’s interconnected world, food and culture serve as powerful unifying forces, bringing people together and strengthening social harmony.

This event embodies these values by celebrating the richness of our multicultural community.
