Join award-winning local artist Catherine Miles for a hands-on painting class offered as part of her residency at Tactile Arts.
This workshop will touch on essential techniques to elevate your work to the next level – topics such as colour theory, composition, perspective, lighting, lost edges, and simplifying shapes and planes. You’ll put these into practice through Notan thumbnail sketches and a still life study of a bowl of fruit.
Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this class offers practical tools and creative insight you can apply to any future artwork.
This is a wonderful opportunity to spend six hours learning directly from an experienced artist at an affordable rate.
Please note: participants are required to bring their own materials.
Come along and grow your skills in a relaxed, supportive setting.
