The Old Library Erith, or Carnegie Library, was built in 1906 with funds from the Andrew Carnegie Fund and was designed by architect William Egerton to serve as a public library and local museum. After closing in 2009 due to structural issues, the Grade II-listed building was transformed into The Exchange, a community-owned cultural hub
