If you have been to an Expansion event before, you have met Jordan Mrkvicka. Recently, her dad Michael Mrkvicka, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. We are hosting Expansion #14 to recognize him, and take his diagnosis as an opportunity to bring the community together. Michael’s mom, (Jordan’s grandmother) passed away from terminal brain cancer (Glioblastoma), and he has requested that the money we raise from this event go to BRAIN UP, an organization dedicated to brain cancer research and support.
Thank you to @progressionvb for partnering with us for year two of this tournament! They’ve generously provided their facility in Darien and the beach courts. Both Team Expansion and the Mrkvicka family are very grateful for their support!
