She will share stories about our earliest spring wildflowers, their folklore and their uses throughout history by Native Americans and early settlers. Be inspired to add some of Illinois' wildflowers to your own garden this year.8:00 PM Darien Garden Club's General Meeting - Find out all about DGC and the activities available to our members.All are welcome. She is a Master Gardener and teaches in the Master Naturalist program. She has decades of experience as prairie steward and volunteer, including managing work on the fourth oldest restored prairie in North America, involvement with dragonfly monitors and programs in Illinois, and work at The Morton Arboretum and Nachusa Grasslands.Learn more about Cindy, including more details about her education and experience in the natural world, at her website: Cindy is also the author, co-author, compiler, or contributor to more than 20 books.
