Join us this year on Sunday, April 26 for the 20th Annual ARI of Connecticut, Inc. Walk for Independence in support of the nearly 100 individuals supported by ARI. Enjoy a stroll along the Long Island Sound while supporting ARI and their 70+ year history. Not sure if you can walk the entire route, no problem! Listen to the music under the Cove Island Pavilion while enjoying coffee, bagels and other refreshments.
This year we will be honoring Liz Sue Bagels for their support of ARI and the Walk by providing bagels each year.
The 20th Annual Walk for Independence will begin at 10:00am with fun filled activities including clowns, a temporary tattoo tent, refreshments, music and much more. Opening ceremonies will begin at 11:00am, followed by a warm up exercise/dance with the walk and lunch after. There is no registration fee; however, attendees donating at least $50 will receive an event T-shirt. Additional shirts will be given for each additional donation of $25.
