SPEAKER: Quatisha McMurtry 

About the Speaker: 
My name is Quatisha McMurtry, and at my core, I am someone who deeply loves people. I cherish friendship, laughter, and the everyday moments that allow me to nurture and care for others. I am a daughter first to the Most High, a wife, mother, sister, friend and an advocate for my community.

If I had to sum up my story in one sentence, it would be this: I’m a little girl who one day realized she was the daughter of a King. 

I was raised by a true superwoman, my mother Vander Jean Neal, and lovingly shaped by the anointed hands and tender arms of my grandmother. Though my father was not always present, the women in my life poured into me with strength, faith, and love. I was brought up in church and taught to believe, but it wasn't until adulthood, lived experience and personal trials that I truly came to know God for myself. What I’ve learned is this: God is faithful. His love never changes. And every day, I continue to discover just how deeply He loves me. I am an alumni of NC A&T & in  2023, I earned my Bachelor of Theology from Living Epistle Bible College, and in 2024, I became a licensed chaplain through Chaplains International. I am a  member of Faith Harvest C.O.G.I.C., where my uncle, Pastor Larry L. Neal, serves as shepherd. Above all, I count it my greatest honor to be called a servant of the Most High, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My desire is to reflect His joy and love in such a way that others are drawn to Him simply by encountering the God in me for His Glory.
