History Presentation — Thomas Day State Historic Site
Enjoy a special presentation from staff of the Thomas Day State Historic Site (Milton, NC). Cabinetmaker Thomas Day, a free Black man, is the most celebrated of North Carolina’s antebellum craftsmen. Learn about his life and unique craftsmanship set against the socio-economic backdrop of pre-Civil War North Carolina. Ages 18 and up. Registration is required. Book online or call 434.799.5195.
