- **Event Description**: Our clients weathered the storm today to attend our Garden Share program offered in collaboration with the U of I Extension Master Gardener Program. There was an abundance of garden-fresh vegetables including cucumbers, tomatoes, and zucchini, peppers, jalapenos, okra, tomatillos, green beans, eggplant, squash, sweet corn, cale, basil, dill, celery leaves and also farm fresh eggs.  In addition, we were able to offer green apples picked fresh before the squirrels and deer enjoyed them.  Please come and join us next Wednesday from 12-1pm in our Senior Center at CRIS.  See you then!
