- **Event Description**: Please join us at The Larimar Lotus Tues Sept 9th @6:00pm (*must preregister by 5pm day of event by calling 434-228-7500) for a Sound Bath Relaxation Session guided by our certified instructor, Sheryl Grekos, to play crystal bowls, gongs, Tibetan bowls, chimes, handheld drums, and other instruments that help bring rest and relaxation in the body . 

?Sound Baths originate back 1,000 years to ancient civilizations in Egypt, Greece, & India. It is not a “bath” with water. The term simply refers to the sounds & vibrations “bathing” the body. 

?Studies have shown a Sound Bath can bring a relaxed state helping reduce anxiety, tension, anger, confusion, pain, and sleep disturbances, along with other health benefits. When the body is relaxed, it is then able to begin healing itself. 

? Sound reaches cellular level, even to DNA level, helping to reset the whole body, the mind, the heart, the spirit. These sacred instruments are very powerful to bring balance back to the body.

?Please wear comfortable clothes and bring your yoga mat (we have extra if you need one), a pillow, light blanket, or anything for your comfort. For those unable to lie on the floor, we have chairs you may sit in to still enjoy the musical sounds in this session. 

?Please arrive 15 mins early to make sure you are settled and comfortable. Session begins promptly to honor everyone’s schedule.
