About the Event:This camp will be taking place at Dan Daniel Park (home of the Danville Otterbots). The first session will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday November 15th, with the second one starting around 1:15 pm. Please arrive 30 mins before your session begins to do the necessary paperwork.
Camp Program DetailsSATURDAY MORNING: (Ages 7-12)- Mechanical Advice --> basics through individual themed ones
- Pitch grips (what are they and how to throw them correctly)
- PFP's --> Pitching Fielding Practice
- Bunt defense --> How to field properly and where to go
- Routine Talks --> Find what works for you
- Double play turns --> Cover and No cover
- Pickoffs --> 1st and 2nd base
- Strength + Conditioning (also, arm care, recovery, etc)

What to know prior to arriving at camp:
- Mask Policy - In accordance with CDC guidelines, people who have been vaccinated are not required to wear a mask while those who remain unvaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask if we are inside!
- COVID Policy - Any kids with symptoms should remain at home. The coaches will NOT be held liable for a positive test after this camp.
- Checking In - The camp sessions will open 30 minutes prior to start time to allow for: waiver signing and ticket verification. If you're later than 30 minutes to camp session start time, entry to the camp will be denied (pending emergencies). Parents will have to sign a waiver before entry is permitted.
- Attire - Please dress accordingly for the weather. Please bring baseball spikes, tennis shoes, shorts (inside), or sweatpants/baseball pants, gloves, hat, travel baseball jersey (or comfortable T-shirt), and a jacket (for outside).
- ** Completion of Waiver - By purchasing a ticket to any one of the sessions of this camp, you are agreeing that the coaches of this camp are NOT liable for any injury that may occur. The completion of the waiver in-person will be required to attend the camp. A trainer will also be on-site for this camp. *
- Purchasing Tickets - Please note that this camp is a one day event. The tickets are found on the tickets page of this website. They are non-refundable after a certain date without certain circumstances.
- **In the event of bad weather or travel cancellations, I will issue a refund if I have to cancel the camp.
*Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch the camp. Videoing of the camp is encouraged from a distance to limit distractions. There WILL be time at the end of each day to meet and greet, ask questions, and take photos outside of the camp program.*
