The McLean County Museum of History, McLean County Arts Center, and other partners invite artists of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels to participate in A More Perfect Union - A Community Exhibition Commemorating America 250. In this drop-in, 2-hr workshop, young artists (3rd grade+) and their adults will learn more about the America 250 commemoration through the creation of original artworks that explore and express big ideas about our shared histories as Americans. 

Completed artworks may be showcased as part of the A More Perfect Union exhibition at the McLean County Arts Center in June/July 2026. All materials will be provided. It is not expected that artworks will be completed within the workshop. 

Registration is required. You may register by contacting the library at 309-963-4269, emailing danvers.tl.rsa@gmail.com, or stopping by the library.
