CreativeZen Talks Presents Timothy Mark Davis (December 2025)

Timothy Mark Davis is a South Florida-based film and theatre director, producer, and actor. As a stage actor, Davis won the 2020 Carbonell Award for Best Actor. He serves as Producing Artistic Director of New City Players, an award-winning Broward theatre company in its tenth season, where he has produced over 25 stage productions.

On screen he has appeared in Apple TV+'s Bad Monkey, alongside numerous independent films and commercials for brands like Rolex, Moe’s, and AAA. His directorial feature film debut, Thank You, Places!, premiered at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. He has produced multiple award-winning short films, including Konpa, which competed at the 2023 Tribeca Festival, and Little Haiti, Miami, U.S.A., which won Best Narrative Short at the 2024 Miami Short Film Festival.

In 2021, his directorial short, The Leap, swept the 48 Hour Film Project, winning Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actress. His films have screened at prestigious festivals including Tribeca Festival, Miami Film Festival, Heartland Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, and the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. He writes a monthly newsletter for creatives who want to build a meaningful life.
