Hi, we’re Ideas Write Now!

We host an informal writing workshop that focuses on creation rather than perfection. We've been hosting workshops since 2017.

Each week we’re guided by a theme and challenged with a task to create within the genre of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or a mix. We'll do compounding writing exercises that led to our prompt and the task of writing for 15mins. Lastly, we take volunteers to share their work as a way to build confidence in our voice and our art.

We're not a class, but you will learn. We offer a place to start writing, a chance to work with other people, to experiment with genre/style in writing, to practice, and to find a better consistent pathway toward creativity that you can use in your writing outside the workshop.

You don't need a background in writing to join. You just need a willingness to try and an open mind in working with others.

The writing workshop was founded by Rose Hedberg, a book nerd and writing enthusiast, blogger and traveler, living in Da Nang.

The workshop does require an advanced level of English for comprehension and participation.
