Beyond excited to finally share the Hennessy’s Green Buoy Battle presented by Infinity SUP! ? This event brings back the nostalgia of Hennessy’s iconic paddle races from decades past and pairs it with a fresh new course centered around Dana Point’s legendary Green Buoy — a local milestone for new ocean paddlers and a landmark for watermen and women alike. SUP • Prone • OC1.

? Saturday, November 15, 2025 — Baby Beach, Dana Point Harbor

The course starts and finishes at Baby Beach. It’s designed to test it all: the flatwater stretch through the harbor challenges pure speed, while rounding the breakwater and heading out to the Green Buoy demands ocean skills, stamina, and endurance.

Here’s what’s in store:
?‍♀️ Single Run (3.5 miles): The perfect entry point for newer paddlers stepping into the ocean stage — or for seasoned legends who don’t need to prove themselves on the long course, but still want to throw down in the Battle. A safe, structured way to claim the milestone of rounding the Green Buoy.
? Double Run (7 miles): Two laps means two separate race starts, with combined times determining the results. This format pushes racers to pace themselves, recover between heats, and bring strategy as much as strength.

? Awards & After Party at Hennessy’s Tavern: Fastest single run of the day will be recognized for each paddlecraft (SUP, Prone, OC1), with separate honors for men and women. Only Double Run paddlers are eligible — so if you want a shot at glory, the challenge is clear. Then we’ll raise a glass together at Hennessy’s Tavern to celebrate a new tradition. ?

? $45 entry fee includes: race, t-shirt, goodie bag, meal, and raffle tickets.
