- **Event Description**: Suzanne Parker, of Suzanne Parker’s Doggie School is proud to offer group and dog behavior training classes that are designed to teach you to effectively communicate to your dog, obedience train, and properly socialize your pups I have developed a proven basic curriculum that is perfect for both adult dogs, and puppies to learn the basic skills necessary to be a well mannered dog. This Free class you will be attending is a lecture class specifically designed to help your dog become more comfortable around other people and dogs, and learn how to be calm, ignore them, and focus on you. By teaching your dog how to acknowledge, yet ignore other dogs and people, yet focus on you, they are learning that you are the value, not other people or other dogs. This helps us to build TRUST and Clear Communication from the beginning. This is also where we will be discussing the method and sequence of our training that we will be using in class. This class is taught using Relationship building techniques, and Positive Reinforcement, and NO harsh tools or methods will be promoted or used in this class.
The upcoming Class, is Class 1 of a series of 4, and it is the intro class. This allows you and I to see if this class is the appropriate environment for you and your dog to be learn. Not every dog, and not every human does well in a group setting, and this class will help us both determine this without a financial commitment. If this is not the appropriate setting, I have private 1:1 options that are fairly priced, or smaller group classes as well. To continue with the remaining classes the cost is $275 total. The class is 1 hour every week for 4 weeks, plus a 15 minute after class Yappy Hour to learn and practice proper on leash socialization, proper leash greetings, and to share valuable information regarding body language and ask questions.

Puppy Push -up's (Sit, Stand, Down, Spin)

Week 2 Safety Class
Stay
Stay on a 30 foot long line
Stay on a 30 foot long line and turn and walk away
Come or Here
Recall on a 3 foot ling line with a partner
Emergency Recall
Leave it!

Week 3 - All About the Walk
Walk Training using on leash engagement techniques and to create and enjoyable walk without the pull

Week 4 - Zen Dog and Graduation
Place and Settle Cue (staying on a location chillin' out)
Review, Test and Graduate (certificate and pic with graduation cap)
