Meet-up Details:

10:00am: 
We will meet at Adventure Damascus/Sundog Outfitters at 331 Douglas Dr, Damascus, VA 24236 on May 31, 2025. DO NOT meet us in Alvarado.

Bike/Shuttle Details:
Pay in person day of event. Please arrive on time to be fitted for a bike and to load everything in the shuttle.

(Cost)
Bike Rental + Shuttle = $40/plus tax
BYOB + Shuttle = $25/plus tax
E-bike Rental + Shuttle = $75/plus tax (contact me if doing this)

Adventure Damascus will be shuttling us from Damascus to Alvarado, and we will be riding back into Damascus. This is about a 10 mile ride that is relatively flat with lots of beautiful scenery. It should take us about an hour and a half at a leisurely pace with stops for pictures. 

Be sure to bring drinks and snacks for the bike, as well as any other medical, etc. items you may need. 

There are restrooms in Alvarado, but none after that until we get back to Damascus.

Additional Details:
Please be sure to consult with your physician to make sure you are fit enough to bike. This is a voluntary outing so sign up at your own risk. We will have a guide take you, but you will be responsible for your own well being (water, food, safety, medical supplies, etc.). Unplug SWVA is not responsible for any illness or injuries you may encounter from going with our group.

Please do not bring electronic devices that may distract you, or others, on the hike (i.e. iPads, game consoles, headphones, music, etc.). The whole point of this group is to get away from distractions and unplug ourselves in the outdoors. Feel free to take photos and videos though, it's going to be beautiful!
