Take a mental pause during the week, and join us for a short mindfulness meditation on Zoom every Wednesday, 12:30 - 1:00pm MYT. The intention is to cultivate calmness and inner peace to respond skillfully to stress and burnout.
Mindfulness is about present moment awareness without judgement, and these sessions draw on the principles of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
MBCT is approved by the National Health Service (NHS) England as an alternative treatment to antidepressants, and is also taught in workplaces to help people deal with stress.
Suitable for people without prior meditation experience to advanced practitioners.
Free, friendly, non-religious (non-faith based).
