Reiki is a natural healing system/method that is safe, loving and has been available to us for thousands of years. Every person on our planet is able to participate in this type of healing energy work. Reiki does not diminish your belief in God/Spirit/Creator, in fact it opens you up to understand just how big our God truly is.
In Level 1 we learn about:
- The origins of Reiki from Usui's lineage and teachings, also how it has changed over time and from teacher to teacher.
-We start to understand what energy is and what it has to do with the human being.
- We go over the use of colors, crystals & pendulums.
- We begin to understand what it means to work on, understand & love ourselves (what Usui's system was originally about)
- We start feeling for energy.
- Learn the 5 principals of Reiki.
- Learn what our roll is in this healing energy.
- What God/Spirit's roll in this type of energetic healing is.
- We will have meditations on each day.
- Talking Points and questions each day.
- Time to journal our feelings and experiences each day.
- Hand placement diagrams
- There will be many handouts and diagrams to assist you in these understandings
- There will be 4 Attunements in level 1...
2 will be given on the first day and 2 will be given on the second day. These attunements are designed to slowly open the student to the energy and understandings during the learning process. It is important and necessary that you attend both days to receive all 4 attunements and your Reiki level 1 certification. You will be grounded after each attunement and after each day of class. I like to think of the attunements as a special prayer made for each student. Attunements are safe and no personal energy is ever taken away from the student. Everything is always done in love and light.
Things to bring with you each day:
- Notebook & pen, for journaling and personal notes
- Pillow, blanket, we will be sitting on the floor and in chairs you may get chilly, so bring what will make you comfortable.
- Bring your lunch and any snacks, we will not be leaving the studio on these 2 days so prepare your foods & drinks to bring with you. We have a microwave but no refrigerator.

The remainder of your payment will be due the morning of class before we begin. I will give you further payment information when we speak. Also I can then send you the agenda for the 2 days.
