- **Event Description**: Part of the Off the Rails Summer Concert Series, Pops in Burr Park brings together the talent of professional musicians & vocalists, pre-professional dancers of Ballet Dalton, and community members to present this FREE performance in celebration of Independence Day. Made popular by the Boston Pops, "pops" is a collection of popular semi-classical orchestral arrangements performed in celebration of the July 4th holiday by different groups around the country.

Pops in Burr Park features live music by the Creative Arts Guild Chamber Orchestra & Guest Vocalists, an appearance by dancers of Ballet Dalton, a community kids choir, and of course it all ends with a beautiful fireworks display set to music!

Elementary-aged kids (age 3+) are invited to be a part of our Community Kids Choir! They'll be singing "This Land is Your Land" during the program. There will be one rehearsal on Tuesday, June 24 at 7pm at the Creative Arts Guild, and one quick rehearsal at Burr Park before Pops gets started on the 27th.
