This class uses yoga and Ayurvedic principles to help us find peace and calm during the holiday season. Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga teaches us that our bodies are connected to the seasons. Winter is the season of vata dosha (constitution) where we can feel unbalanced, ungrounded, spacey and scattered. Plus this happens during the holidays! We'll explore a yoga practice incorporating ayurvedic principles to help us settle the body/mind so we can feel fully present, balanced and grounded.

About the Instructor:
Class taught by Kathy Tooley, a 500-hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher with extensive training in Ayurveda. Her Ayurvedic studies included daily & seasonal self-care, plus food, breathwork & yoga for each dosha. Besides incorporating Ayurvedic philosophy & practices into her personal life, she has taught Ayurveda in a variety of settings including 200 & 300 Yoga Teacher Trainings.
