Physical and emotional burnout and injury are prevalent among massage therapists. Somatic Mindfulness bridges somatics and bodywork, teaching self-care as a professional skill, making the therapist’s own wellbeing the method for creating the conditions for healing, intuitive insight, and clarity of purpose.

Through Attuned Touch, each workshop invites discovery rather than direction, allowing the body to remember how it already knows to heal.

About the Instructor:
Somatic Mindfulness by Fernando Rojas MSME/T, LMT, PhD, is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider and is also sponsored by NCBTMB to teach New York licensed massage therapists continuing education that is accepted by the state of New York for license renewal.

It is recognized as an application of Switzerland’s Trager Therapy principles to complement massage therapy and bodywork. In Switzerland, Trager Therapy is an official method of Complementary Therapy.

Fernando is a 2023 inductee at the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame; and is recognized as a Master Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist by The International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA).
