Yellow

Kettle Art is thrilled to host Kengo Hioki, also known as Peelander Yellow, a Japan-born, Austin-based artist from the Z sector of Planet Peelander. Yellow is a punk-rock legend who fronts the punk band ‘Peelander Z’. Yellow also is also a prolific visual artist and his works include murals all over Texas and Japan including the Austin headquarters of Facebook and Google. Yellow is also a children's entertainer, and has the ability to transform his audience to feeling like they're five years old again. Expect live painting, a short solo set of music along with an exhibit of vibrant artworks as bold as his colorful name.
