Tissue Box Cover Class – May 6 at Back Mountain Makery

Join us for an engaging intermediate-level clay class with the talented Jo Pilston! In this workshop, you’ll create your very own handcrafted square tissue box cover (fits square boxes only). Using deep, rich hazelnut clay, you’ll add texture, personality, and your choice of glaze from Jo’s wide selection of colors.

This project uses clay that’s a bit stiffer than usual, so get ready for plenty of scoring, slipping, and coiling—and if you’ve taken Jo’s classes before, you know just how important those steps are! Jo will guide you through each part of the process to ensure your piece is both beautiful and sturdy.

What to Expect:
• Make one custom square tissue box cover
• Choose your texture and glaze
• Work with hazelnut clay for a warm, earthy finish
• Learn intermediate techniques with expert guidance
• Create a piece that adds charm to any table or counter

Come join us for a fun, creative evening and leave with something uniquely yours!
Please allow up to 3 weeks for your finished piece to be completed.
