- **Event Name**: The Samurai Collection
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 27 Mar, 2026 at 03:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Colin Wee is organising a little tour to the Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum (2:45pm for a 3pm start) for participants to AKATO's Annual Seminar and 50th Anniversary celebrations.

There is Free Admission with a time-entry pass. Confirm your attendance by Mar 20, and I will organise all tickets for the group, if not, organise directly at their website. For those who don't know Dallas, I would also suggest going to The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza Q5HR+WJ Dallas, which you can do after The Samurai Collection.

Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller began acquiring art of the samurai over thirty years ago and the collection is now one of the largest of its type in the world. The family has selectively built the collection with an intense focus on artistic detail and sculptural quality. The objects, which range in date from the fifth to nineteenth century, are presented within the Museum in a variety of rotating exhibitions—each one exploring an intriguing aspect of Japanese warrior culture.
