Individual improvisers will face off in a future dystopian comedy battlefield, playing short-form games and scenes until only one remains the ultimate victor. But remember: in improv, victory means supporting your fellow tributes as much as slaying with your own punchlines.In this three-hour workshop, you’ll:Learn and review short-form games (a.k.a. your weapons of choice)Practice high-stakes elimination games, panels, and group scenesTrain for solo challenges that test both skill and swaggerMaster the flow of the show and the mindset of “competing as a character while supporting as an improviser”Eligibility:To enter the comedy arena, students must have completed Level One Improv at Stomping Ground or another training center—or have equivalent training with permission from our Training Center Director (email education@stompinggroundcomedy.org for more info).Perks of Training: Students who complete this workshop will be eligible to submit to perform in The THUNDERDOME, held the first Friday of every month.
