Some of us like to grow exhibition roses and participate in local rose shows. Some of us are just learning how to successfully grow roses in our landscapes. ​Some of us are enthralled by miniature roses while others marvel at the hybrid tea. Some of us are collectors while some have only a few plants. The Society extends a warm welcome to all gardeners eager to delve into the world of roses and gardening. Attendance at our meetings is always free, and membership is never a requirement. But most importantly we are a group who have come together to encourage each other in our hobby.www.dallasrosesociety.comThe Fort Worth Rose Society was founded in 1961 by Mr. and Mrs. O.G. Pierson and a local group of people who shared a love for roses. The Society grew over the years to become the premier rose society in North Texas. The Fort Worth Rose Society is an affiliate of the American Rose Society. The Society holds annual Rose Competitions every May at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
