Pitcher? Vase? Yes.

Bring mom, bring a friend, or be the mom who deserves a creative night out and join Jo Pilston Pottery for an evening of hands-on fun making your very own Pitcher Vase.

Is it a pitcher? Yes.
Is it a vase? Also yes.

Will it look amazing with flowers in it? Absolutely. (That’s my personal favorite.)

In this class, Jo will guide you step-by-step through hand building your pitcher vase, including how to attach handles and shape a spout that actually pours nicely—because function matters. Of course, if you decide it’s destined to hold flowers instead of iced tea, we fully support that choice.

Speaking of iced tea… this piece is giving summer vibes. Picture it filled with cold iced tea on a warm day. Or fresh flowers on your table. Or both, depending on the week.

When you arrive for class, you’ll have a wide selection of glazes to choose from to make your piece truly your own.

Once finished, Jo will take your masterpiece back to the studio to be fired and glazed. Your pitcher vase will be ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks, just in time to show off—or gift to mom (if you can part with it).

✨ Make it for mom. Make it with mom. Just don’t be surprised if you want to keep it.

The Back Mountain Makery is a Licensed B.Y.O.B Establishment and yes you are welcome to bring snacks.
