In this class, you’ll build your very own 12” (handle to handle) x 7” wide x 1” deep tray. You pick the texture and design, and Jo Pilston will handle the messy glaze-and-fire part (you know, the “don’t burn down the studio” stage).
The best part? These trays are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, and oven safe. (Yes, your Brownies just got an upgrade.) Just remember—let your tray preheat with the oven to avoid any dramatic pottery explosions.
Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in about 3 weeks—just in time to wow guests, serve cookies, or slyly “volunteer” to bring brownies to every holiday party.

We’ll provide beautiful textured lace to press into your clay, but if you have a special doily or lace —bring it along!

Oh, and yes—it’s BYOB. Because shaping clay is even more fun when you’re sipping with your bestie and giggling about your lopsided dish that’s “totally rustic on purpose.”

Seating is limited! When you purchase your ticket you pick which dish you would like to make.

This is a non-refundable class unless cancelled by Jo Pilston Pottery or Back Mountain Makery. If you can't make it, you can transfer your ticket. There must be a minimum of 8 people to hold the class. If the minimum isn't met, the class could be cancelled by Jo Pilston Pottery.

Reservations are a must with workshops.
Feel free to use side door, parking available in side lot.
Please DO NOT block alley or park directly in front of Gina Storms LMT, Waynes World or Ochman's Jewelry and Coin as to allow parking for their customers is also needed.
PLEASE arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than time of workshop start time to allow time for settling in.
Workshop will be Non-Refundable with any "No Show/No Call"
ALL cancelations need to be called in to 570-449-4529 or Facebook message before 3 days/72 hour deadline of Workshop scheduled date & time.
All cancelations may have the option to be refunded, MINUS 15% as credit card and restocking fees are applied.
