Location: 505 Pinkney Rd Dallas, NC 28034 Date: Saturday, November 21st Time: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM --- COMPETITION FORMAT Band Competition: Top 3 Places Awarded Soloist Competition: Top 3 Places Awarded Individual Awards (1st–3rd Place): •Lead Vocals •Harmony Vocals •Guitar •Banjo •Fiddle •Bass •Dobro •Mandolin People’s Choice Award: Winner determined by audience vote --- ENTRY FEES (COMPETITORS) Bands: $150 per band Includes entry into Band Competition only Soloists: $50 per performer Includes entry into Soloist Competition Individual Awards Entry (Optional): $10 per person, per category Individual categories (vocals/instruments) are not automatically included with band or solo entry. Participants must register separately to be judged for individual awards. --- SPECTATOR ADMISSION Kids 10 and under: Free General Admission: $15 Supporter Bundle: $20 Includes admission plus 2 People’s Choice votes Additional People’s Choice votes may be purchased for $5 each --- RULES AND GUIDELINES •All performances must be primarily bluegrass or traditional acoustic style •No backing tracks, pre-recorded music, amplified instruments allowed (electric bass pickup excluded) •Bands will have a 20-minute time slot including setup and breakdown •Soloists will have a 10-minute performance window •Judging will be based on musicianship, timing, stage presence, and overall performance •Only registered participants will be considered for individual awards •All judge decisions are final --- WHAT TO EXPECT •Live music throughout the day •Food available on-site •Family-friendly environment •Audience participation for People’s Choice voting --- REGISTRATION Spots are limited.
